For Vets: How to refer a client to me

I am a Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CAB) specialising in dogs. I predominantly work in Cumbria, but am happy to travel or provide remote support.

I am a full member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC) and a registered Clinical Animal Behaviourist with the Animal Training and Behaviour Council (ABTC).

All my work is vet referral only.

My qualifications are recognised by pet insurance companies who cover behaviour.

Once I have seen the client and assessed their dog I will send you a summary report for their records. This will include details of any observations from the consultation I have advised the client discuss with you. Where relevant I will send up-dates after this.

You are always welcome to contact me to discuss any aspects of current or potential cases.

How to refer a client

Your options to refer are:

  1. Complete this form and upload the dog’s medical history. I will then contact the client with the price (including travel) and to book them in.

  2. Give the client my contact details and they get in touch with me. I will then send the referral paperwork direct to the practice for you to sign.
